Cannabis plants seized in Burton

Police have seized dozens of cannabis plants from a property in Burton last night.

Officers attended a property on South Broadway Street, Burton, at 8.10pm (19 June) and seized 85 cannabis plants.

A 26-year-old man was detained in the property and arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the production of class-B drugs.

Officers remain at the scene today (20 June) while engineers look to make the property safe.
