Officers are appealing for information following an incident in Dividy Road, Bentilee, at around 7.20pm yesterday (July 8).
A man in his 70s was given first aid and an ambulance called after he was found lying on the ground near to the Trent Tavern pub.
He was taken to hospital and, sadly, died a short time afterwards.
It is believed the man was riding a scooter, but the circumstances around the man’s death are not yet understood.
His family are being supported by officers.
Anyone who may have witnessed the man or has CCTV or dash-cam footage should contact us on 101 or via social media referring to incident 703 of July 8.
