Officers are urging people to be vigilant and protect their valuables after a series of thefts from cars over the weekend.
Police were called to three incidents on Saturday (23 January).
The first theft took place on a driveway on Downes Way, Cannock, at about 3pm where a dashboard camera was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.
The second incident took place on Greenfields Drive in Rugeley at about 3.40pm when the front number plate was stolen from a white BMW.
Officers were called again at about 10.30pm to Chaseley Avenue in Cannock where a wheel nut taken from an unlocked grey Nissan Quashqai.
Chief Inspector Becky Hyde of Cannock Neighbourhood Policing Team said: “We would urge owners to ensure their vehicles are properly locked and secured while on driveways and check that home security measures are in place in order to help prevent this type of crime.”
