Officers are appealing for information following a stabbing in Deltic, Tamworth.
At approximately 1:15pm on Friday 1 October, a 17-year-old boy received a minor stab wound after encountering an unknown male in a wooded area near Deltic.
It is known by the local community as 'The Bumpy'.
The boy did not require hospital treatment for the wound.
It is believed that the suspect was wearing all black clothing, with a hood pulled over his face. He may have long brown hair with the ends of the fringe dyed purple.
Anyone with any information or relevant CCTV footage should message Staffordshire Police on Facebook or Twitter, quoting incident number 317 of 1 October, or call 101. Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
