Staffordshire Police joins the country in mourning following the death of His Royal Highness The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.
As a mark of respect, flags on all police stations across Staffordshire will fly at half-mast in tribute.
Deputy Chief Constable Emma Barnett said: “It is with profound sorrow that we learn of the death of His Royal Highness The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.
“The Staffordshire Police family joins local communities in mourning this sad news as we offer our solemn and sincere condolences to the Royal Family and pay tribute to the life of the Duke of Edinburgh.”
