Officers are appealing for information after an elderly man sustained a head injury in collision with a delivery van in Cannock.
The victim, aged 90, was struck by the vehicle at about 4pm on Sunday (1 November) on Longford Road at the junction of Dartmouth Avenue.
He was taken to Royal Stoke Hospital, where he remains, undergoing further treatment.
The driver, a 27-year-old man, is helping police with their inquiries.
