Police are now in a position to name the woman who sadly died following a road traffic collision on Wednesday, 26 February, near Leek.
Beverley Gill, aged 61, from Butterton, was in a Toyota Hilux with her husband and two grandchildren when she was involved in a collision with a Foden Tipper HGV on the Leek to Ashbourne Road (A523).
Specialist officers are supporting her family, who would like to thank everyone who has kindly passed on their condolences. They have requested that their privacy is respected at this difficult time.
Officers from the Staffordshire and West Midlands Serious Collision Investigation Unit continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision. They are appealing for relevant dash-cam footage or anyone who saw either of the vehicles before the incident to contact them on 101 quoting incident 426 of 26 February or by emailing: [email protected].
