It's not a law, but it is sometimes called 'Sarah's Law'.
I want to find out if someone poses a risk to an adult
You can't use the Child Sex Offender's Disclosure Scheme (Sarah's Law) to find out about someone who poses a risk to an adult, but you might be able to use the Domestic Violence Disclosure Scheme (Clare’s Law) instead.
Clare's Law lets you formally ask the police if your partner may pose a risk to you. You can also ask about the partner of a close friend or family member.
