Our recent Christmas campaign, which focused on the prevention of burglary and robbery, has reached hundreds of thousands across Staffordshire.
Around the Christmas period we often see a spike in serious acquisitive crime, which includes crime types like domestic burglary and personal robbery. In response, we developed a campaign to educate the public on how to keep their home and possessions secure.
Under the banner of 'Be Sure You’re Secure', we shared a mixture of video content, graphics with basic advice on and delivered advertising on different platforms to reach audiences in the home.
A video we developed, focusing on the scenario of a presenter of the famous show 'Behind the Keyhole' being unable to get into a house because it was so secure, enjoyed very a positive response and was viewed by over 75,000 people. You can watch the video here: ParcelHero - Worldwide Parcel Delivery
Advertising messages were also delivered as people paused programming on the ITV X app and using digital audio advertising when someone listened to a commercial radio station through their home smart speaker. These tactics combined reached over 33,000 unique users.
Although this was a Christmas campaign, partners are encouraged to share these messages whenever they feel appropriate. For a partner pack or for access to any of the resources, please contact [email protected].
