We’re appealing for information following a serious collision involving a motorbike and a car in Burton-on-Trent.
It happened just before 5.25pm on Wednesday (30 April) on Newborough Road in Needwood. The rider of a white BMW 1000 motorbike collided with the driver of a black BMW 4 Series.
The rider of the motorbike, a man in his 50s, suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital by air ambulance, where he remains.
The driver of the car, a man in his 40s, stayed at the scene and has been helping us with our enquiries.
Anyone who saw the collision happen or those with dashcam footage of the area at the time are asked to get in touch. Call 101, quoting incident 638 of 30 April, or use Live Chat on our website.
