Plane crash in Ahmedabad
The UK is working with local authorities in India to urgently establish the facts and provide support to those involved.
We’re appealing for information after a man suffered a slash wound to his chest in Burton-on-Trent.
Officers were called to the underpass on Bridge Street on Friday (9 May) after paramedics from West Midlands Ambulance Service found an injured man.
Fortunately, his injuries were not deemed serious but he was taken to hospital to be treated.
Officers have been speaking to the man and people who were in the area to find out more about what happened. We understand the man was arguing with another person on the bypass of the A511, on the second archway. The suspect, who was described as a young lad riding a bike, slashed the victim on his chest before leaving the scene.
No further descriptions of the suspect have been given at this time.
We’re keen to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time or those with information that could help us with our investigation. Call 101 or use Live Chat on our website, quoting incident 609 of 9 May.
