A man who was arrested following the death of a man in Trent Vale has been detained under the Mental Health Act after being assessed by medical professionals.
We were called at 4.05pm on Monday (10 March) to reports of a disturbance at a house on Lymebrook Place, Trent Vale.
Sadly, a 38-year-old man, was pronounced dead a short time later. His death is being treated as suspicious.
A 46-year-old man, from Stoke-on-Trent, who was arrested on suspicion of murder has been detained under the Mental Health Act after being assessed by medical professionals.
At this time, we are not looking for anyone else in connection to the investigation.
