Eight people have been charged following a series of warrants in Cannock yesterday (Wednesday 11 June).
Two of them have been charged with conspiracy to supply a class A controlled drug – cocaine:
Scott Preece, 32, of Rugeley, has been charged with the same offence, as well as possessing a controlled drug of class B – cannabis.
Cameron Preece, 22, of Pye Green, Cannock, has been charged with being concerned in the supply of cocaine, being concerned in the supply of a controlled drug of class B – cannabis, supplying a controlled drug of class A – cocaine, possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of class A – cocaine, possessing criminal property and possessing a weapon for the discharge of a electrical incapacitation device.
Jack Horden, 29, of Pye Green, Cannock, has been charged with being concerned in the supply of a class A drug, being concerned in the supply of a controlled drug of class B – cannabis, and possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of class B – cannabis.
Thomas White, 30, of Blackfords, Cannock, Simon James, 49, and Stacey Shenton, 36, both of West Chadsmoor, Cannock, have all been charged with being concerned in the supply of cocaine. Shenton was also charged with possessing an offensive weapon in a private place.
It comes after officers from our major and organised crime team worked together with the local policing team to search 12 addresses in the Cannock area yesterday. Drugs, cash and various weapons were found.
All of those charged are due to appear at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre today (Thursday 12 June).
