Jody Grimes, 36, of no fixed address, has been charged with two counts of theft from the person and two counts of theft from a shop.
It comes following a number of reports between 21 December 2024 and 28 December 2024 of items being stolen in Bucknall, Abbey Hulton and Longton, including two handbags and shop items.
Grimes has been bailed ahead of her appearance at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre on 4 February.
