We have arrested two men after finding around £1,500-worth of class A drugs, a knife and cash following a proactive operation in Stoke-on-Trent.
Officers from our major and organised crime teams worked together with the road policing unit (RPU) to stop a Vauxhall Astra on Tyrell Grove in Sneyd Green yesterday (Monday 20 January). Two men were detained.
We found heroin, cocaine, around £1,000 in cash and a knife.
A 47-year-old man, from Stoke-on-Trent, has been arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of heroin, driving whilst disqualified and driving without insurance.
Another man, aged 27, of no fixed address, has been arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply heroin and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.
Both remain in custody.
