Two men have been arrested in Burton-on-Trent after found a sock full of cocaine along with phones and cash.
At about 1.20pm on Tuesday (21 January), proactive officers stopped a BMW on Waterloo Street for a search.
A knotted sock with cocaine was found in the driver’s door panel, as well as three phones and £50 from one of the people inside.
We then searched an address in the area and found £1,200 in cash.
A 31-year-old man and a 30-year-old man, both from Burton-on-Trent, have been arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply cocaine.
They have since been bailed with conditions while our investigation continues.
