We are appealing for information after shop workers were robbed at knifepoint at a store in Stoke-on-Trent.
We were called at 8am on Saturday (11 January) to the Co-op store on Devonshire Square, Bentilee.
Two shop workers were threatened by a man with a knife who demanded they open the safe.
The suspect stole a number of coins and then made off on foot in the direction of Swaythling Grove.
The shop workers were left shaken but unhurt following the incident.
The suspect is described as being around 6ft in height, of a slim build, wearing dark clothing.
We are currently reviewing CCTV footage of the area at the time of the robbery and urge anyone who saw what happened or who may have relevant dashcam footage to contact us on 101 quoting incident number 120 of 11 January.
