Two men from Burton-on-Trent have been charged with drug supply offences after we found an estimated £3,400-worth of MDMA, nitrous oxide and cannabis in a search.
Luke Winson, 24, has been charged with possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of class A (MDMA), possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of class B (cannabis) and possession with intent to supply nitrous oxide for wrongful inhalation.
Fabrice Richards, 30, has been charged with possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of class A and possessing a controlled drug of class A (cocaine).
It comes after officers from our Major and Organised Crime team searched a home in the area yesterday (Wednesday 5 February) and separate searches in the area back in October 2021.
Winson was remanded in custody ahead of an appearance at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre today (Thursday 6 February).
Richards has been bailed ahead of his appearance at Cannock Magistrates’ Court on 11 March.
A 34-year-old woman, from Burton-on-Trent, was also arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of cocaine as part of the investigation. She has been bailed with conditions while our investigation continues.
