Three men have been arrested after Police Dog Joschi was sent in following reports of a burglary in Stoke-on-Trent.
Officers spotted three men trying to force their way into a flat near Percy Street in Hanley at 2.45am this morning (Friday 7 February).
They ran off up Stafford Street but were quickly tracked down and stopped by PD Joschi.
Three men, aged 28, 25 and 19, all from Stoke-on-Trent, have been arrested on suspicion of burglary and are in custody.
Sergeant Marc Proctor, from our City Proactive Team, said: “We’re working proactively, night and day, to go after those responsible for burglary, theft and robbery across the city.
“Thieves are not welcome in Staffordshire and I can assure local communities that our officers and police dogs are working extremely hard to go after those responsible and to take robust action.”
