A man has been charged with breaching a restraining order after we launched an investigation into the death of a woman in Great Haywood.
Bryan Jones, 50, of Rugeley, has been charged with breach of a restraining order.
It comes after we were called to Devereux Gardens by our colleagues at West Midlands Ambulance Service at around 5.10pm on Wednesday (29 January).
Pippa Lewitt, aged 46, was taken to hospital but sadly later died.
Jones appeared at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre on Saturday (1 February) and has been bailed ahead of his next appearance at a date and time to be fixed.
A 24-year-old man, from the Stafford area, who was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a controlled drug, has been bailed with conditions while our investigation continues.
