A man has been charged following a fatal collision in Burton-on-Trent in 2015.
Nadeem Akhtar, 46, of Shelton, Stoke-on-Trent, has been charged with murder.
It comes after a silver Ford Mondeo collided with a man who was walking along Shobnall Street on 20 July 2015.
Mohammed Aziz, from Burton-on-Trent, who was 50 at the time, was taken to hospital with extensive injuries.
On 3 December 2022, Mohammed sadly died as a result of his injuries in hospital.
Akhtar is due to appear at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre tomorrow (Wednesday 23 April)
