The family of a man who died after being involved in a collision in Endon recently have paid tribute to him.
Raymond Austin, aged 91, of Endon, was a pedestrian when he was involved in a collision with a van on the A53 Leek Road on Thursday (10 April).
He was taken to hospital by ambulance but sadly died from his injuries.
The family of Raymond have since paid tribute to him. They said: “Raymond was a much-loved grandfather and father.
"A former engineer and college lecturer, he was an avid rambler.
"Please respect our privacy at this difficult time."
The van driver, who was uninjured, remained at the scene of the collision and is assisting officers with their inquiries.
