Three more men have been charged as part of our ongoing investigation into the violent disorder in Stoke-on-Trent.
Ryan Perry, 22, of Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent, has been charged with violent disorder and two counts of assault by beating of an emergency worker.
Arthur Walker, 67, of Sandyford, Stoke-on-Trent, has been charged with violent disorder and possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of class B (cannabis).
Ted Piolunowicz, 63, of Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent, has been charged with obstructing and or resisting a constable in execution of duty.
We have now arrested 116 people and charged 48 with offences as part of our investigation into the disorder in Stoke-on-Trent on 3 August and Tamworth on 4 August.
Perry is due to appear at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court tomorrow (Tuesday 1 October).
Walker is due to appear at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court on 10 October.
Piolunowicz is next due to appear at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre on 7 November.
