Three men have been sentenced to a collective prison term spanning more than seven years for their part in the violent disorder in Staffordshire.
Dillan Bahruzi, 38, of Sneyd Green, Stoke-on-Trent, was sentenced to two years behind bars at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court today (Thursday 26 September) after he previously admitted violent disorder.
Jordan Winyard, 28, of no fixed address, was handed a three-year sentence at Stafford Crown Court today after he pleaded guilty to the same offence.
Jordan Jones, 27, of Meir, Stoke-on-Trent, was sentenced at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court today to two-years-and-two-months after he previously admitted violent disorder and possession of a controlled drug of class B – cannabis.
Bahruzi (pictured below) was identified on footage throwing rocks and missiles at police officers and members of the public in Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent, on 3 August.
He was arrested on 16 August and charged with the offence.
Winyard (pictured below) was wearing a pig mask at Tamworth on 4 August when he launched missiles at police officers, police dogs and at the Holiday Inn Express hotel. He was identified after we tracked him down on CCTV.
Jones (pictured below) was caught on CCTV launching a brick at frontline police officers in Stoke-on-Trent and shouting abuse in the violent disorder.
We have now arrested a total of 110 people and charged 45 as part of our robust investigation into the disorder in Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire.
