A third man has been arrested as part of our robust investigation into a firearm discharge in Stoke-on-Trent.
It happened at about 3.35pm on Tuesday 3 September near Winchester Avenue in Bentilee.
No-one was injured.
Since then, armed officers have searched a number of addresses across the city as part of our ongoing investigation. Two men, aged 30 and 28, from Stoke-on-Trent, were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. They were questioned in custody and released on police bail with strict conditions.
Yesterday (Monday 9 September), we arrested a 24-year-old man, from Stoke-on-Trent, on suspicion of attempted murder.
He was questioned in custody and released with strict bail conditions while our enquiries continue.
