A teenager has been charged with weapons offences after we carried out a series of warrants in Newcastle-under-Lyme.
A 17-year-old, from the Kidsgrove area, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been charged with possession of an offensive weapon in a private place.
He is due to appear at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre on Wednesday 16 October.
It comes after officers searched seven separate addresses in co-ordinated warrants on Friday (20 September).
A 27-year-old man, from the Stoke-on-Trent area, and a 24-year-old man, a 22-year-old man, a 21-year-old man, and a 19-year-old man, all from the Kidsgrove area, arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs, human trafficking and modern day slavery (forced servitude) have been released on bail.
Three boys, from the Kidsgrove area, aged 14, 16 and 17, arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs, have also been released on bail.
