We have arrested a teenager after officers were threatened in Stoke-on-Trent.
Just before 12.10pm yesterday (10 September) we were called to reports of a disturbance inside a property in Burslem town centre.
When officers went inside the address they were threatened with knives by an occupant who then shut himself inside a room.
He was spoken to by officers and eventually left the room.
Shortly after 2.30pm, we arrested a 14-year-old, from Stoke-on-Trent, on suspicion of affray and criminal damage.
He has been released on conditional police bail.
No-one was injured and the occupiers of the home continue to be supported by officers.
