A teenager has been arrested following a collision in Stoke-on-Trent.
We were called to a report of a VW Passat colliding with a house on Burrington Drive, Trentham, at 9.15pm, on Friday 20 September. The car then left the scene.
We went to the address with colleagues from Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service.
Thankfully, no-one was in the property at the time and no-one was injured.
Just before 2.40am the next day (Saturday 21 September), a Seat Cupra, believed to be linked to the incident, was followed by officers when it failed to stop for them.
It was stung in Wetley Rocks and four people got out.
Shortly after, officers arrested a 17-year-old boy, from the Stoke-on-Trent area, on suspicion of vehicle theft. He has been released under investigation.
Enquiries are ongoing and anyone who saw what happened, or those with CCTV, dashcam or doorbell footage of the area, are asked to get in touch by calling 101, quoting incident 767 of 20 September, or messaging us using Live Chat on our website.
