Sixth man charged following Normacot death

A sixth man has been charged following the death of a man in Normacot, Stoke-on-Trent.

Israar Tariq, 27, of Longton, Stoke-on-Trent, has been charged with murder and possession of a knife in a public place.

It comes after we arrested a man at Heathrow Airport on Monday (2 September).

Thapelo Jali, aged 21, was found in an alleyway with serious injuries on Buccleuch Road, Normacot, at 12.50am on Monday 22 July.

Sadly, nothing could be done to save him.

Tariq is due to appear at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre today (Wednesday 4 September).
