A man who threw a brick at an officer in the violent disorder in Stoke-on-Trent has been convicted in court.
Tyler Bradley Marchese, 21 of Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent, appeared at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court on Monday (16 September) and pleaded guilty to violent disorder and assault by beating of an emergency worker.
He was seen numerous times on footage from the scene on 3 August engaging in violent disorder and throwing missiles at police at the scene.
Once he was identified, he was arrested and questioned in custody. He refused to comment on the questions put to him.
After being convicted, Marchese will now appear at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court on 27 September for sentencing.
We have now arrested 94 people and charged 38 with violent disorder offences as part of our robust investigation into the disorder in Staffordshire.
