Man charged following thefts

A man has been charged with shoplifting offences in Newcastle-under-Lyme.
Simon Isherwood, 37, of no fixed abode, has been charged with two counts of theft from a shop.
It comes after two shoplifting incidents that happened at Asda and Sainsbury’s in Newcastle-under-Lyme on 14 and 15 August.
Isherwood has been bailed ahead of his appearance at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre on 26 September.
