We have arrested a man on suspicion of attempted murder following reports of gunshots in Stoke-on-Trent.
Detectives have been working tirelessly to investigate what happened near Winchester Avenue in Bentilee on Tuesday (3 September) when gunshots were heard.
Specialist search teams and forensic examiners have been carrying out enquiries to understand more about what happened.
No-one was injured.
Earlier this morning (Thursday 5 September), we carried out a search warrant at an address near Wooliscroft Road, Stoke-on-Trent. Searches are continuing today at the property.
A 28-year-old man, from Stoke-on-Trent, has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
He remains in custody for questioning.
