A man has been arrested following an incident on the A50 this morning (10 September).
We were called around 4.45am to reports of concerns for the welfare of a man on a bridge over the A50 at Heron Cross, Stoke-on-Trent.
Officers attended including negotiators and our working at heights team.
A 38-year-old man, from Stoke-on-Trent, has been arrested on suspicion of causing a public nuisance.
The road is being re-opened.
