A man has been arrested after we found weapons and about £20,000 in cash following a search in Tamworth.
We searched a home near Fossdale Road at about 3.20am this morning (Monday 23 September) and found a number of items inside, including a samurai sword and a number of baseball bats.
Further searches inside the address also unearthed around £20,000 in cash, multiple mobile phones and snap seal bags.
A 33-year-old man, from Tamworth, has been arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon in a private place, being concerned in the supply of a class A drug and harassment.
He remains in custody for questioning.
