A man has been arrested after we found cash and items potentially linked to drug dealing in Coven.
On Tuesday (10 September) officers searched an address in the village.
They found and seized mobile phones, an extendable baton, between £1,000 and £1,200 in cash, cannabis vegetation, suspected cocaine, and 19 large bottles of nitrous oxide.
A 25-year-old man, from the South Staffordshire area, was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of cocaine, nitrous oxide and cannabis, acquiring, using, or possessing criminal property, and possession of an offensive weapon in a private place.
He has been released on conditional police bail while our enquiries continue.
The activity follows our ongoing commitment to proactively target serious and organised crime across Staffordshire.
We launched Operation Target last year and have been working with local police forces to disrupt and pursue criminals who plan, organise and commit serious criminal offences across the county, including drug supply, illegal firearms, knife crime, human trafficking and sexual exploitation.
