A man has been arrested after we seized around £10,000-worth of heroin and crack cocaine in Burslem.
On Wednesday (11 September), officers from our major and organised crime proactive teams acted on intelligence regarding the supply of drugs.
They found four ounces of heroin and one ounce of crack cocaine after stopping a man on Sytchmill Way, Burslem.
A 49-year-old man, from the Stoke-on-Trent area, was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of class A.
He has been released under investigation while our enquiries continue.
The activity follows our ongoing commitment to proactively target serious and organised crime across Staffordshire.
We launched Operation Target last year and have been working with local police forces to disrupt and pursue criminals who plan, organise and commit serious criminal offences across the county, including drug supply, illegal firearms, knife crime, human trafficking and sexual exploitation.
