We have arrested a teenager following a knifepoint robbery that took place in Stoke-on-Trent, earlier this month.
We were called at 8.20pm on Thursday 12 September to Town Road, Hanley, following reports of a robbery.
A boy was walking home with a friend along an alleyway when he was threatened by two men. One of the suspects brandished a four-inch blade.
The victim, 15, had his blue iPhone 12 and his silver bracelet with diamond-style stones around it was stolen. Thankfully, no one was hurt.
We later recovered a lock knife from the scene.
Following a CCTV appeal, a 16-year-old has been arrested on suspicion of robbery.
He has been released on conditional bail while are enquiries continue.
