We have arrested a man after seizing an estimated £30,000-worth of cannabis and cash inside an address in Stoke-on-Trent.
Proactive officers searched a home near Dawlish Drive in Bentilee at about 7.45am today (Wednesday 11 September) and found the items inside.
A 28-year-old man, from Stoke-on-Trent, has been arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply cannabis.
He remains in custody for questioning.
Officers across Staffordshire are continuing to target groups and individuals responsible for high-harm crimes, including county lines drug distribution, illegal firearms activity, modern slavery, and cyber-crime.
Drug dealing is often associated with other forms of serious crime and can be a way for organised crime groups to exploit vulnerable people into county lines and sophisticated criminal networks.
Since we launched Operation Target in May last year, we have arrested more than 1,000 suspects for drug and weapon offences in Staffordshire and are continuing to gather intelligence to act against those responsible for high-harm crimes in our communities.
