We are re-appealing for drivers who were heading south along the A460 between Rugeley town and Hednesford to come forward after a serious collision.
We were called to an RTC at 6.25am last Wednesday (13 November) to reports of a serious collision involving a grey Vauxhall Corsa and a blue Ford C-Max on Rugeley Road, Hednesford.
It is important for any witnesses to the collision or those who arrived immediately after to contact us.
The drivers of both cars were taken to the Royal Stoke University Hospital. They are both still in a critical condition.
Their families are being supported by specialist officers.
We are keen to speak to anyone with any information, CCTV or dashcam footage which could help collision investigators.
Call us on 101, quoting incident 70 of 13 November, or message us using Live Chat on our website.
