The 16-year-old boy arrested on suspicion of sexual assault following an incident in Yarnfield has been bailed outside of Staffordshire with strict conditions.
At 3.35pm on Sunday (20 October), officers were called to an area near Yarnfield skate park following reports that a girl in her early teens had been sexually assaulted.
Officers worked quickly to carry out enquiries and make an arrest.
The girl is continuing to receive support from specially-trained officers at this time.
The 16-year-old boy arrested on suspicion of sexual assault has since been bailed with conditions and is not currently residing in Staffordshire.
We’ve got a robust patrol strategy in place and will be continuing to provide extra reassurance to local residents.
