Hide-and-seek champion PD Tiger sprang into action after a suspected stolen vehicle failed to stop for police in Stoke-on-Trent.
On Monday (21 October) a silver Vauxhall Zafira drove away from officers on Uttoxeter Road in Longton at around 1.15am.
It then went the wrong way through the town centre.
The vehicle was stopped in Bute Street, Fenton. Two people got out of the car and left the scene.
Shortly after, PD Tiger found a woman hiding in bushes.
A 27-year-old woman, of no fixed address, has been arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle and making off without payment.
She has been released on bail while our enquiries continue.
We are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident, or who may have relevant dashcam footage, to get in touch.
