Police Dog Bones was treated to a celebratory snack after tracking down two suspected car thieves in Stoke-on-Trent.
At 3.20am this morning (Friday 18 October), we were told about a burglary that happened near Leek Road in Endon.
Two suspects went inside the home and took the keys to a Hyundai Sante Fe before driving away.
About an hour later, we spotted the car being driven on Abbey Road, where it failed to stop. It was then found abandoned on Abbey Hulton Park.
PD Bones was brought in to sniff out the suspects and found a man hiding in a shed nearby. Another officer found a man on Newhouse Road.
An 18-year-old man, of no fixed address, was arrested on suspicion of burglary.
A 17-year-old boy, from Stoke-on-Trent, was arrested on suspicion of vehicle theft.
Both remain in custody for questioning.
