A man has been charged with a number of theft and driving offences across Newcastle-under-Lyme and Stoke-on-Trent.
Shane Gallagher, 36, of Newcastle-under-Lyme, has been charged with handling stolen goods, taking a motor vehicle without the owner’s consent, driving whist disqualified and using a motor vehicle without third party insurance.
It comes following two separate incidents where a Lexmoto motorbike was stolen while parked outside JD Gym on Liverpool Road, Newcastle-under-Lyme, on 28 August, and when a Mercedes E220 was stolen in a burglary on 9 July in Bucknall, Stoke-on-Trent.
Gallagher is due to appear at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre today (Thursday 3 October).
