The family of a woman who was pursuing her lifelong dream of becoming a writer who died in a collision in Newcastle-under-Lyme have paid tribute to her.
Shejuti Pasha, aged 32, was travelling as a passenger in a silver Toyota Icon when the car collided with railings on High Street, Knutton, just after 10.30pm on Wednesday 25 September.
Shejuti was taken to hospital but sadly died as a result of her injuries.
In a moving tribute to her, Shejuti’s family said: “Shejuti was pursuing her dream of becoming a famous writer before she passed away.
“She was an inspiring writer who had so much to give in this world.
“She was one of the most determined people there ever was. Her smile can brighten up a whole room and her intelligence was a sight to behold.
“We will all miss her dearly.”
The driver and a second passenger from the car were not injured.
A 22-year-old man, from the Newcastle-under-Lyme area, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and drink driving. He has been released on conditional police bail while our enquiries continue.
