A boy has been charged with criminal damage offences in connection with the vandalism of flower beds in Longton recently.
The 13-year-old, from Longton, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been charged with criminal damage to property valued under £5,000.
It comes after the planters based on The Strand in Longton town centre were damaged for the second time this month on 1 October.
The boy has been bailed ahead of a court appearance at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre on 30 October.
