A man has been arrested following a stabbing in Stoke-On-Trent.
We were called to a disturbance on Parliament Row just after 11.20am today (Saturday 12 October). Officers arrived a short time later.
A man was taken to hospital for treatment. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening. He remains in hospital at this time.
A 23-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent, possession of a knife blade/pointed article in a public place, possession of a controlled drug of class A (heroin) and possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of class B (cannabis).
He remains in police custody. Enquiries are ongoing.
