A teenager has been arrested after a man was assaulted in Codsall.
We were called just after 11.30am on Tuesday (29 October) to reports that a cyclist was punched in the face after being approached by two men in a blue VW Polo on Histons Hill.
The victim was taken to hospital for treatment. His injuries are not life threatening or life changing.
A 19-year-old man, from the Codsall area, was arrested on suspicion of affray and common assault. He has been released on conditional bail while our enquiries continue.
Officers are now keen to trace the other occupant of the vehicle.
They are appealing for anyone with relevant CCTV or dashcam footage of the area at the time to get in touch by calling 101, quoting incident 225 of 29 October, or by using Live Chat on our website.
