A man has been charged with a series of burglary and theft offences following recent incidents across Stoke-on-Trent and Newcastle-under-Lyme where an estimated £40,000-worth of goods were taken.
Ethol Price, 32, of Sandyford, Stoke-on-Trent, has been charged with two counts of burglary, two counts of aggravated vehicle taking, four counts of theft from a motor vehicle, three counts of taking a motor vehicle without the owners consent and one count of criminal damage to property valued under £5,000.
It comes following a series of incidents across north Staffordshire between 2 July 2023 and 16 October 2024, where an estimated £40,000-worth of items were taken, including power tools, fishing equipment, an off-road bike and landscaping equipment.
Price appeared at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre today (Friday 8 November) and has been remanded in custody ahead of a date and time to be fixed for his next appearance.
