Three people have been arrested after we responded to a report of a break-in at the site of a cannabis grow in Stoke-on-Trent.
At 2am on Sunday (3 November), we were told about a small group of people with crow bars trying to force their way into an address near Little-Field in Trent Vale.
When we went there, a car drove off on the A34. We caught up with it and stopped it.
A hammer was found inside.
A police dog also searched near the address in Trent Vale and found two men hiding in a garden. One of them had a hunting knife.
When we went inside the address that was being targeted, we found an active cannabis grow that had bypassed the electric supply in the area.
Around 200 plants were cleared from inside and three arrests were made:
All three have been bailed with conditions while our enquiries continue.
