We are appealing for information following to two attempted burglaries in Werrington.
Just before 8.10am on Monday 28 October, we were called to an address near to Washerwall Lane after damage was caused to a patio door handle during the night.
No-one entered the property and nothing was taken.
Then, at 8.30am on Tuesday 29 October, we received a report of an attempted break-in at a property near to Moss Park Avenue.
After waking up, the occupant found a broken door handle and the remains of a lock barrel on the floor outside the address.
Again, no-one entered the property and nothing was taken.
Officers have examined CCTV and carried out a forensic analysis of the scenes and house-to-house enquiries.
